You are able to select which combination you would like to flash with your performance tune.
We do not take any liability for the misuse of this software. For exact details and an explanation of what is covered by each of the elements please read the product listings. These are also repeated below for your convenience.
This software may not comply with emissions regulations in your country. Therefore it is sold only for use in off road and race applications outside of emissions testing and road regulations.
Please be aware a limited range of models have AdBlue fitted, this option will only be available to cars where the system is present.
The "Stage 2" tunes may offer a slight performance increase over the quoted Stage 1 figures due to the increased flow through the exhaust. If you are after additional power we can also offer some performance hardware and custom tuning to support any modifications on these platforms. Please contact us to discuss these options.
Improve the power and efficiency of your vehicle, remap your car from home with a genuine calibrated ECU tune. Our "Stage 1" tunes are designed for stock cars with standard hardware offering a trouble free solution. By reprogramming the ECU (engine control unit) we are able to control every aspect of the combustion process and our tunes continue the factory logic.
Retaining an as stock drivability while unlocking the hidden potential of your engine. With access to the many thousands of tables within the OEM control unit we are able to perfectly optimise the boost pressure, rail pressure, injection quantities, start points and duration while retaining the safety targets put in place by the manufacturer. This is by far the most comprehensive tuning product available for the platform.
Please be aware this product is not in place of a mechanical solution. This is for cars which have had the internals of their DPF removed.
So what exactly is a DPF? DPF stands for diesel particulate filter, it was introduced to help reduce/redirect the fine soot particles created by diesel engines. The filter catches the particles and then under certain conditions the car performs a "regeneration" which increases the exhaust gas temperatures to the point it burns off the particles. The theory behind this is that the conditions required to regenerate are typically met outside of pedestrian areas away from the lungs of people on the street.
Unfortunately as with any system there are issues which can prevent the regeneration, such as a failed sensor. If the regeneration fails to occur the filter slowly becomes more and more blocked. In really extreme cases this can lead to engine failure.
So how to solve this issue of a full DPF causing poor running. The insides of the DPF can be removed from the exhaust or a bypass or replacement downpipe can be fitted to the car. Once this is done your performance issues will be mostly solved! However the car will still try to regenerate, this is where the DPF delete option will deactivate the regeneration and remove any associated fault codes. Leaving your car thinking there should never have been a DPF installed.
Please be aware this product is not in place of a mechanical solution. In most instances a faulty EGR can be solved with software however in some cases the EGR may be physically stuck open in which case it should be blanked.
So what exactly is a EGR? EGR stands for exhaust gas recirculation, it does exactly what it sounds like, it takes air from within the exhaust chamber post turbo and recirculates it through the manifold pre-turbo. This strategy was introduced in order to reduce the emissions being expelled by the car as it essentially uses the same air twice in order to improve efficiency. It has perhaps one advantage in that it can improve warm up times (also an important factor OEM's take into account when looking at emissions) but short of that it has been compared to breathing in your own farts.
Because the air is recirculated it already contains quite a lot of carbons, as it travels through the system this carbon build up will increase causing the valve to become blocked. As the airway gets restricted further and further so does the performance of your car. A fully blocked EGR is likely to trigger at the least an engine light relating to expected air flow and in most cases limp mode.
In most cases simply telling the EGR to remain shut solves the running issues and in some customer's opinions offers a better driving and feeling vehicle.
AdBlue is probably the final emissions system we will see on diesel passenger cars. It was introduced from around 2014 in the VAG TDI line-up offering even lower emissions figures. So what exactly is AdBlue or Urea as it is called in international markets. AdBlue or SCR is a selective catalyst reductant so in essence similar to a DPF your car has an additional catalyst designed to trap some of the harmful particles exiting your engine down the exhaust. The AdBlue itself is a water/urea mixture that is then injected into this catalyst which through a chemical reaction turns the pollutants into harmless water.
In theory the technology sounds great, it takes bad stuff and turns it to water. Sadly the realities of any new innovation is that it also comes with a number of common faults. AdBlue systems being a mandated requirement for emissions classes (Euro6) have to be operational, if your car develops a fault a countdown will begin on your dash. The countdown will start at approximately 1,500 miles and keep going down until eventually your car will not start again.
AdBlue faults are often expensive to get rectified whether its a failed sensor or replacement injectors, wiring or even the tank itself. The worst part often is because of how frequent failures are and the never ending shortage of parts the stuff you need is on backorder with no indication of delivery. With our AdBlue emissions solution you can simply disable this feature from your car, no expensive repair and no more topping up that tank either. If you then go ahead and want to reverse this feature after having the system repaired you can return to stock anytime.
